Martina Miguens is an Argentine-American jewelry artists and designer. Soon after being accepted in California College of the Arts for Drawing and Painting, she took an elective class in jewelry fabrication that made her see the world through a different perspective.

Martina’s work explores the convoluted bounds between involuntary memory through scent and reality, and is inspired by the organic and natural forms found in nature. Her senior year she was the teacher’s assistant to passionate enamelist Deborah Lozier in her class of Intro to Jewelry and interned for California based artist, Curtis H. Arima in his own practice.

Martina moved to Miami a couple of months after graduating from CCA(C) with her BFA in Jewelry and Metal Arts. JCW has warmly embraced her as a member of the community and gave her a space to create.
